Description

Almost fully inflated. Ride 'em, cowboy! Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration, held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California. Much better detail viewed full size. The ground crew appeared to be having some intermittent minor problems during the procedure, so I have no idea how long it took to reach full inflation. The hot air balloon was tethered to the ground and could only rise to a limited height. No fun having it float free high above Southern California with helpless passengers aboard, not to mention the groups of paying customers on the ground also waiting for a lift. So many passengers-to-be, so little time. And please don't assume that all went well with this fun-filled enterprise, so one more collage to come. Cheerio, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

Wonderful "action" series, Harry; and it's a pretty balloon, too. Amazing to see how it functions!
