Description

Here is a view outside the factory/wood shop place where they hand make furniture. This factory has two components, its mainstay is making the wooden portion of beds, that is the bed head and foot, as well as the rails. Perhaps in a subsequent series I will go back and take pictures to show you guys how beautiful their headboards are. For now, I shall remain on the subject of sculptures, and tea tables. After we leave Gaoyao, we shall travel to Yunfu (Yoon Fow) and tour the operations of the largest stone cutting operation in China, and the third largest stone cutter in the world. I hope you enjoy the view as much as I did exploring this little town.

Thanks, I do not envy people who have to dig up stumps. Even digging up the sage brush my dad wants out of the yard gives me chest pains.

Wow, that is amazing. I'm so impressed that they are able to dig these out like that, that must be an awful job... Still, from what you've told me about their operation, I'm even more impressed that they planted these trees and then let them grow all this time before harvesting them after they've lived out their lives. really cool operation that plans ahead for the long haul! Thanks for sharing these amazing shots with us!
