My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

What a great find! Odd, the grill looks in good shape while the body appears to be rusting away. Kind of like me if I had braces.

It's the 'Tara angle' again, brilliant.Looks like a do'er upper.Looks more like sand blasting than corrosion..a very interesting find, all this and good food too.....I've often wondered were 'The Asylum' was, my Wife's been saying I belong there for years :-)

Strangely enough, I've actually been to Gerome, Arizona. On a family vacation in 1979. As I recall we ate in a pretty decent greasy spoon populated by real cowboys, and real Indians, and real Indian cowboys. That was a fun trip, and it sounds like you guys are having a blast. I love restaurants (or anywhere else for that matter) that have derelict 1941 Packards parked out front. Wonderful close-up.

You've got the eye:) My shots of this old rusty hulk are rather dull. Cool...
