Description
Today we visited Montezuma Well just outside Rimrock, Arizona. This staircase allows visitors to climb down a cliff to see irrigation canals that were dug in about the 8th century. It was a nice little hike, and we had a great time!

Amazing what those 'primitive savages' where able to accomplish, don't you think? For some reason 'Stairway to Heaven' just came to mind. Brilliant image with a great looking tree up there.

This is an absolute first! First, I love the POV and composition but this is also a first for ever hearing anyone refer to something that happened on this continent in the eighth century. Nicely done.
