Description
This image has been sitting in my head for a very long time and it's been in the making for over a year (on and off), but at this time I decided too call it done (for the time being).
I wanted to illustrate the feeling of the child feeling neglected. How successful I was is for you to decide.

I think it's very effective. Before I read your note, I thought maybe she was being naughty or something, but afterwards, I can definitely see where you were going with it. I love the colors and the lighting. Great job!

beautifully done. She's going somewhere else and she's dragging her best and only friend by the ear (she wants a real friend). And everyone is interested in bigger more important things than her. But she digs deep and still has courage and strength and if she was a boy, she'd be in the back yard playing with matches. She's hurting. Very well done and moving!

Like I said over on Dreamlight I really like the emotion, lighting and textures. The cold blue light outside is a great contrast giving the feel of being empty. I had no idea you called it Neglect...hummm that rings a bell.
