My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Inspired! The red flowers, the blue glass, the mountain all placed perfectly by you! Someone else could try this and it would be a mess..how do you do it!?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue bottle!! Me loves blue bottles!!! :-D :-D Thank you, Tara! Wow - just look at the light and all the delicious ripples in this delightful little bottle! Wow - as if the background was't beautiful enough by itself! That must be a really old bottle - the unevenness of the glass is fascinating - this little gem would look good with my insulators! LOL! Just scrumptious, my dear friend!

beautiful shot and a nice idea !

Superb image. Wonderful and subtle color variations in the bottle caused by the light. The shape and the cork make me think of a little blue man staring off at the hills.

WOW! I love blue glass and have so little of it in my gallery! This is why I love it. It just looks so darn good! I love the composition too; the mountain in the background, the whole openness of Nature, and a simple, elegant bottle. Very nice! I love the light/shadow/color interplay as well. Yeah, this rocks.
