My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

The Whole thing? Perish the thought! A lovely warm feel to the colours, but a rather draughty structure.

Esto me recuerda a una casa que hay cerca de aquí, es igual. Un saludo.

I know exactly what you mean... Yes, the whole thing is redundant, we only need to see the important bits! Well done, they are lovely!

How funny that the secrets to good writing and good photography are so similar. Wanna write a good story? Okay, just write half of it, better yet, only write one third. Leave the rest for the reader's imagination. I'm glad to see that the same works for photography; it makes me think that maybe I'm less insane than it sometimes seems. And as for this shot: it's quite marvelous. I love the lines, the wood tones, the lines, the colors, oh and did I mention the lines? This is really super stuff, richly warm and very, very inviting. It has a nicely mysterious mood to it too. Yeah, I like this!

Like all the best Horror Movies (lol), only show part of the item in question, so only part of the building is required! And what stunning colours this wood has.. Glorious! Good one Tara! Rob

Beautiful colors and textures on this old barn. It looks like it is in the process of returning to the earth.

Yep - I agree. I think focusing on that rich, colorful old wood was the way to go, Tara. Really nice color here!
