I started out using the 3D program called Imagine on an Amiga in 1990, switched to the PC around 1995, then switch to Lightwave3D around 2005 or so. I own a graphics company that specializes in architectural illustrations and animation. If you are looking for a job doing this kind of stuff, willing to relocate to Memphis, TN, and use Lightwave, drop me a note as I am probably hiring.

very good. How do you do the shading for the characters, for example for the guy with the mustache we see his shade, is that postprocessing ?

Thanks. If I apply the "people" bitmaps to a plane and insert them into the scene, they will cast shadows and reflections to the degree possible considering what they are. If you look at the FBI guy in the mid/right you can see his shadow on the column behind him... that was in the render. The fuzzy shadows near the people's feet I add via post processing. It's the only post processing thing that I did to this image.

Wonderful again...a pleasure to view your work!

Rating this magnificent render with a paltry "Excellent" is nearly an insult - so I've decided to enforce that further with a little more voting. I've seen a number of your astounding creations and will now go and cast my AOM, as I've seen the best work right here in your gallery. This is one of the very first pieces of exceptional interior rendering that achieves a grand scale appearance without cheating and utilizing 'forced perspective'. Your skills are phenomenal, and your hard work has paid off brilliantly!
