Description
POIGNANT!
Captured 5/5/11, early in the AM, at my favorite park, within walking distance of my anachronistic abode.
Better viewed full size.
I may be wrong, but this homeless waif appears to have been abused and neglected during its short lifespan. It was definitely fearful and intimidated by this well-meaning old guy with the picture-taking device in his hands.
Other than snapping its photo, that's the only contact I had with it.
Sayonara, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Aww, the poor little skinny thing; I only hope someone finds it and takes care of it. I find it heartbreaking that so many pets are "discarded" and left to fend for themselves in a world not set up for that. It's a poignant portrait, Harry, well done.

It would be in my house by now!

This is so sad Harry, and I hope someone will find it in their heart to take it home and give it a good home.

I would have taken it home in a flash! Cute pup!

He looks very apprehensive about you getting close and he looks as though he could do with a good feed. His coat looks so neglected. I hope he found a home.

What sad eyes and defensive posture. I hope he finds a better future. Excellent image.

I agree that s/he looks homeless and skittish of your presence. I nice shot for a homeless pet poster. Bring a snack the next time you are walking in the area. Dana

Awww that is sad to see. Cute little thing I hope someone will take him in. His legs almost seem too long for his little body.
