My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Looks like a photog's dream, all right! Love all the warm colors, and southwestern achitecture - just gorgeous, Tara! And of course you now have a reason to go back - to try that restaurant! :-D

What really grabs me is that spreading vine, almost like it's growing there as a talisman for good luck...if you walk under the right branch of it, you'll catch all of the sales that year...or something like that. I love the Southwest Architectural style as well. I can't say that the style IS my favorite, but IN the Southwest, it's quite a marvel. I think it's rather like palm trees. Southwestern stuff in Chicago is rather like Palm Trees outside of the Water Tower...just existentially wrong on far too many levels. On the flipside of that, this is such a gorgeous shot of something in its native environment and though I've never been to Sedona, Arizona, I hear good things about it. Really nice! I love the glass as well; it adds such a nice blue reflection that recalls water. Most excellent!
