Roofing the mid-section 2011-06-15, 18:00 This photo of the roofing process of the tunnel to the underground parking behind the Triangle shopping center in Malmö, Sweden, was taken at 18:00/6:00 PM today. The construction site is now seen from the north, looking south, after the plywood wall blocking the view from the north side came down a few days ago. The locations from which my earlier photos (looking north) were taken are marked with black arrows. The recently roofed area is the light grey area just below the black arrows (see my recent posts - http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2208486&user_id=5273&np&np ). Below that is the mid section where the workers are now placing reinforcing irons in preparation for pouring concrete. The white arrows point to the wall and roof laid down on the north end, which are visible in my earlier photos. This is now being covered with gravel and rubble. The red arrows to the left mark a gap in a plywood wall through which I took a close-up photo of the work on the mid-section, which I’ll post tomorrow. This was photographed with the camera well zoomed in. This really foreshortens the view, giving an impression of short distances. The distance from where I’m standing to the flags in the background is some 200 meters or more! See my previous posts to get an idea how the optics can really change the perspective! Enjoy!
