Description

A couple days ago, I posted a photo of a clock mechanism (which turned out to be strikingly similar to one Tara (auntietk) photographed halfway across the country from me)! I said I'd post an image of the entire clock, so here it is. This thing was just so cool, I couldn't pass up a few photos. I'd love having this in my living room! Hope to get things back in order and get back to rendering very soon. As if I didn't have enough things to sort, I had a major issue with my #3 computer yesterday. I installed a Brother multi-function printer on it, then when the scanner portion of the printer wouldn't work, I decided to take it back and get another Canon. When I un-installed the software, it frakked my computer up beyond recovery, so now, I have to pull the HDs out of it and connect them to one of my other machines through a USB adapter to rescue the stuff trapped on them. Then format/reload. Always something.... Anyway, I hope to be able to work on my Blending Renders With Photos tutorial next week while I have some time off. And get my latest TNA page finished. It's been too long... Thanks again for all your comments and support! Hope everyone has a good week!

Oh that is cool Rod, very unique. Is this a modern day internals of a clock or a antique? Sorry to hear that about your computer, that is just so wrong for a new printer to mess of your computer. Are you going to contact brother to inform them?

Sorry to know about your computer problems, Big Bro. That is how it goes with technology, like people, they have incompatibility problems he-he. Quite a nice capture, thanks for sharing it with us.

That's a bit big for my watch:) Looks like I beat Tara here...she'll be catching up after a sewing project she is in the middle of. Love this display from Union Station. Our similar clock sits outside and has a huge outer clock shell to keep the weather from screwing up the works. But the works are strikingly similar. Thanks Rod, well done.

Dang ... finally finished that project! :) It's good to be here, and away from the sewing machine. Hey! Somebody stole the outside case!! Actually, I like this version of the clock better. It was really hard to get a good shot of those gears through the glass case. Thanks for showing us the whole thing!

WOW, that is one cool clock mate - tick tock! Very spartan but purposeful looking! and as for PC's, every bloody year something major has to be done (once or twice at least - good luck with that!)

Great captures, Rod! That's what one can call a clock! Computer issues never dies - I just "lost" one of my to home working computer, fortunately not the 3D one - but it is a bit annoying every time...So I make back ups of my materials more often than years ago... :o]
