Description
This is the Official Carin (Meisiekind) Birthday Tree. Bet you didn't know you had one, did you? Well, you do, and here it is. I'm not 100% why this is the Official Carin (Meisiekind) Birthday Tree, but I think it has something to do with the fact that it's poetically beautiful, really interesting, and kind of quirky... Anyway, Happy (Belated) Birthday, Carin!

I like the fact that Carin's birthday tree has a birthday vine growing up, rather like a wisteria vine only I have no idea what this one is...it looks nicely alien and I have to say that I like that! Great textures all around, especially that vine...and the whole composition is so deliciously abstract. This is a great shot. I like it a lot!

Great picture Corey! Very nice tribute to Carin. Like the POV very much. The tree is on the grounds of the Venice Senior Center. Not a very glamourous name, but a neat place. Had lots of fun shooting there with you. I have a pic with everyone reviewing their shots. Might post it sometime. In the meantime, happy shooting.

Super shot Corey! The parasitic Florida vines climb anything and go everywhere. I think that they are related to Red Poison Ivy so if you get carless cutting it down, you itch for a week. Dana
