My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

You went up in a little plane??? Voluntarily???? I'd have to be dragged and drugged. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that we got to see this amazing capture of the red rocks. Well done!

Wow, Tara! What a spectacular pano - this is awesome! Yeah, I think Arizona limestone is a lot more colorful than Missouri limestone.... Off-white to yellowish gray. Bleah. Fantastic shot!

A superb capture. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of those little planes as I get airsick in them.

Really lovely Tara and I know what you mean by feeling all the dips and peaks, Julie was sick from start to finish when we flew over the Grand Canyon.

Great panoramic image. Reminds me a little of Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. I know what you mean about small planes. Did you get to experience the plane moving sideways?

LOL at Denise!!! I agree with her. However - this image alone made that trip so worthwhile! Most wonderful image Tara and definitely an area that I want to visit!

Nicely done! Ok, now let me see if I have the photos of the small plane you and Hugh were flying in that day...that is enough of the right type to make an interesting collage...if so, I'll link it back to this panoramic view for reference:)
