Description

We hiked the long way around to get to the falls. You can hear them all the way across the valley floor and as you get closer, the sound is like nothing else. I tried to take some shots at the lower falls; and once again, I got wet. The spray and mist are so heavy, all the fotos are blurry, like you're underwater--which in some ways you are!!

wow ! spectacular .... this light situation makes it difficult to capture. Has your cam RAW ? if not with exposure bracketing you could handle the too light areas (fall and clouds) Yes know the problem all too well with the spraying water of waterfalls, costed me also many unusable pictures.

Yosemite Falls, but it always gets up and brushes itself off. A nice foto of an image that not only have I captured a few times, but which tons of other visitors have recorded since the dawn of man, Marilyn.

I don't know how I missed this one, but as I spent the whole weekend (plus a few days) at Corey's place, I was probably watching something on DVD, going through photos, or just entering my normal vegetative state whenever I step out on the little balcony at the front of the apartment--the one right across from the plastic bag that's been in a tree for about 3 years now. Anyway, somehow I missed this and I'll just attribute that to the vegetative state mentioned above. At any rate, I see it now, and I have to say that this is one massively impressive shot! I love your description and it made me laugh as--by your description--this could be a sea/undersea photo, without too much exaggeration. No matter what, though, it's quite an amazing shot. It's also one of those that you just have to see on full zoom!
