My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Fine composition indeed. Reminds me of trips to Ohio when I was 10-11. Not the terrain, but the huge trains. We'd walk along the railroad tracks and stick pennies on the track...result? Very flat copper disks...

This one looks like a mechanical millipede with a headlight, and needless to say, I really love that! What a view this is! I love the emotional zing this has. I mean, you-the-photographer and the guy running the train are (in the logic of this photo) the only people in the immediate vicinity and in a landscape like that, the "immediate vicinity" is quite a vast bit of space. For me, that's nicely eerie in that sort of "We're out in the heartland," kind of way, because the heartland is never a bustling, busy place. It's where dangerous critters live, and where giant, mechanical millipedes go clomping across the landscape (on tracks, nonetheless) and never stopping. I could go on and on about this, but I'll just stop, post this comment, then scroll back up and enjoy the view.
