Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update Ă‚Â January 2012:Ă‚Â After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with itsĂ‚Â advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems.Ă‚Â I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books. Ă‚Â Life marches on!Ă‚Â Ă‚Â Ă‚Â
Dana

Yes, I remember Inverness; I stayed at a bed & breakfast not far from where you're standing, as a matter of fact. I loved it there, and this shot shows the peaceful beauty of the place. Well captured!

Mike and I dearly hope that someday we will be able to visit the UK...such a beautiful part of the world. This is such a beautiful city with a lot of character. I always notice that when people show pictures of cities abroad, they always look so clean as compared to our cities! Thanks for sharing this!

Superlative capture of a lovely spot with its fabulous architecture, Dana. Unfortunately, the Loch Ness monster is no where to be seen. Camera shy, you know. And, I'm still amazed that you can get such great quality out of a scanned shot.
