Description

This is a tunnel at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. It's REALLY dark inside, I was wearing my sunglasses, didn't have my regular ones, and could barely see where I was going. It was a very strange feeling. It's longer than it looks, and was carved out of the sheer granite mountain. That's my son walking ahead of me.

WOW! WOW! This rocks, and considering the nature of this photo, I think I just dropped a bad pun. Oh well...it still rocks! I love the textures and the sense of scale. This is one of those shots that always makes me want to travel somewhere like this! WOW! Nice!

Ahhh yes takes me back to the early 1980's - for a couple of years of my life I worked in a hard rock mine except it was darker but you captured a surface dwellers perspective of the deep. Thanks for taking me back!
