Description

Captured 9/13/07, early in the morning at a local high school, situated about two miles from my semidomesticated domicile. Cool DOF, perspective and repetition for those of us who dabble in these facets of photography. Better viewed full size. Seems just like yesterday when I recorded these shots, which were taken before the students arrived at school that day. Have tons more taken of this same structure languishing in my files. That's it for today, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

I like your outlook on life Harry. Loke look at things differently than the average Joe. Wonderful perspective in this collage. Keep up the great work during your wanderings. Dana

All really great views so can't decide which I like best! I appreciate the viewpoint on the first but love seeing the pattern of little triangles in the second. The loooong perspective on the third is echoed by the tall trees in the background. No matter which one I study they ALL have lots of angular action. Great job!

Love the vanishing point perspective in these shots, Harry, not to mention the geometry of them, and the wonderful shadows from the early light. Great stuff!!!

Lovely clean lines in these captures and the loan runner in the second capture will get sore knees going up and down these steps. Excellent shots.

I agree with Dana, you have a way of photographing things that to most would be seem so ordinary and making them stand out.

Cool Harry...very eye catching...as always light and shadow draws me right in. The big word here is PERSPECTIVE. This is a text book view:)

Wonderful perspectives! On the first one I notice the regularity of the supports and my eye is drawn along the bleachers into the distance. The curve of the fence adds to that pull. I like the golden tones, the lone runner, and the shadows of the second one. It looks like the spectators were a lot messier on this side. The tall trees in the last one add to the vertical lines of it. I also like the blue tones and the perspective of being directly above the bleacher that is almost in the center of the image, with bleachers going up to the right and down to the left. Excellent shots!
