Description
We've been rockin and rollin, head bangin and partying the last couple of days, so I thought it was time for a few peaceful moments. This is Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. The falls I posted a few days ago are just to the left, out of sight. I'm going to be back in that area the end of August and plan to hike to those falls.

Amazing! I love the scope, the scale, and yeah, the tranquility! That water is superb as are those nice, looming rocks. Great scene all around, and yeah, it's a nice way to take a break from rockin' and rollin' and head bangin', even though all of that stuff is immensely fun too! This is like the pause in between courses of a really extravagant, lovely meal; the part where you get to savor and anticipate at precisely the same moment. I like the mood in this too.
