Description

This is a view of the river Laramie at the point where the Settlers on the Oregon Trail crossed from left to right into the fort. A lot of the old buildings of the fort have now gone but the building you see on the far right is the jailhouse and I can tell you that the inside is not pleasant! Have a good Sunday. Jeff.

This looks much more attractive than all that harsh trail. They must have been pleased to stop.

A fantastic capture, Jeff. I love the lively water-stream in it. Thanks for telling me about the jailhouse, it's not that big, huh?

Looks like a very beautiful place to stop for a while after the hardships of other parts of the trail! Very nice shot indeed Jeff! A wonderful little series bringing something which I know very little about but had heard of almost to life!

This is a beautiful shot Jeff. That looks like a historical building over to the right but what a spot for a summer cabin. Dana

A lovely capture of this very famous river and they didn't mollycoddle prisoners in the old days, did they.
