Description
34 years ago today, Elvis died at his , Memphis,Tennessee home, Graceland, at the young age of 42. I am forever a fan. Who can remember what they were doing when they heard the news of Elvis's death? I was across the street babysitting.
By they way this picture was taken in downtown Nashville this last weekend.

Great capture Lynelle. I was going to Junior College and remember the shock. We always took for granted that he would be around forever. When he was inducted into the US Army and sent to Germany at one point he sang 'Muss Ich denn, muss ich denn zum Staedtele heraus' or something like that. By singing this my mother became a lifelong fan!!.

A super capture with the colouring and the wonderful outfit. I have always been a fan too but I can't remember what I was doing either. Can't believe it was 34 years ago, where does time go.

Amazing shot! Rhinestones! Yeah! You can never have too many of those, unless, of course, you have too many...but I have yet to meet anyone with too many sparkly things! This is a great shot! I love the selective color. It's so well done. This is a great shot, and I love the fact that I thought: "Elvis has left the building and he's waiting to cross the street." Sometimes I wonder about the directions my mind goes in.
