Description

It's been a while since I've needed the kind of stress-relief I used to be facing, and while that is certainly a good thing, it's been a detriment to by "entertaining the neighbors" kind of activities. So much so that I've actually had a few comments sent my way from some of the people in the neighborhood about the decreased number of gravity-defying contrivances in my yard. Today was far from a stressful day, but it was a truly beautiful day that made staying inside and working on costumes very difficult. So I made this, instead. The top piece makes me think of a strange proboscis, or beak of some sort, and the inevitable very old pun wouldn't leave my head until I got it in someone else's instead. So thanks, everyone who's looked, for helping rid my brain of it. I hope you've all had a good weekend, and I sincerely hope those of you on the east coast have made it through the storm with minimal difficulties.

I'm not sure gravity is working right in your part of the world. How do you do that?

The Force is still with you, I see! Nice to see things are 'stacking' up nicely in your neighborhood! :-D

I like these, and every time I look at one, I think of the desire, on my part, to attempt this. I will, and soon, I think, but in the meantime, I'll just marvel at the interaction of gravity, friction, and balance. As for the nose: yeah, it's the first thing I noticed. It is rather beak-like! Very nice! Such a sturdy individual.
