Description
Captured 8/20/11, midday, at a local auto show.
Actually, I detest noisy car shows held on a bright hot day, on even hotter asphalt pavement, which this one was. I prefer debbielove's milieu of shows held on cool UK lush green grass under cloudy skies. But this one was nearby and free, with just a few little kids around, who were quiet anyway, so I can't complain too much.
I tried researching this beauty for exact details, but found only scant information, plus current photos from Flickr and elsewhere. It is probably a touring model. I'll show closeups of the beautiful upholstery on my next posting of the vehicle.
Ciao, thanks for the visit, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Well, here is a delight my friend! A real rarity.. For me anyway.. lol Great shots - even if on a blazing hot day and on a road.. (Thanks for your liking of the grass events I attend ).. LOVE the name of the shop behind the 3rd picture! I bet, at the time it was!!! Good one Harry.. Rob

Quite magnificent in its' day....but give me a sleek modern car any day. Love the simplicity of the old engine compared to the amount of stuff under a modern hood.

Super captures of this old beauty that has been restored so well. A lovely collage.

Great capture Harry, and have to echo your thoughts about liking a car show better held on the grass

This is a beauty Harry and a fantastic collage of photos. I hope that the #1 means that there will be a #2. As one of my grand kids says - "more please". Dana

Another wonderful lineup of shots, Harry; I can't remember ever hearing of this particular auto, but it's a beauty. The headlight positioning with the rest of the front end give it an almost bug-like face! Well done presentation, and that butter-yellow leather interior is mouth-watering...

Holy crow Harry...thought I commented on this but didn't. I've been involved building a 12x12 shed and just finished staining the entire thing today. Hopefully, I'll not miss five uploads in a row for awhile again:) A great car... the Reo. I remember trucks with the Reo nameplate in my day but never have seen one of their cars. The guy who restored this beauty went all out...leather interior? Wow. Love it.
