Description

Hello friends, time again to go back to the roots, back to Berlin... This is the begin of a new "old" series, that I called "Unknown Berlin", when I started it long time ago. I am busy in Berlin, of course, that means 1-3 tours in summertime which last 2-5 hours and end up in a cafe or a beer bar. This tours create results like this, a very untypical harbour scene. I hope you like it. In the moment my plan is to continue the Berlin series till the number 100 with most uncommon pictures outside the tourist routes. In October we plan a vacation in South Spain to photograph the old arabian architecture. Pleae feel free to send comments, all of them are appreciated. Thanks! I wrote a personal blog today about my photographic intentions in Berlin. Please feel free to read my article "WHY BERLIN? A Look behind the Scene..." You can find it in the "Blogs"- Section or under this adress: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/blog/index.php?comment&postid=4051 Pic was taken at 19th july 2011 with Nikon Coolpix. Location: Berlin - Tempelhof, Tempelhof Harbour

Interesting shot with some vintage dock cranes. The boat is obviously restored. Is this and old fish processing facility converted into a seafood restaurant complex?

@prutzworks: You are right. The wooden ship is a stranger here, it is typical for the coast regions of Germany like the Northern sea or the Baltic sea. But their fish´n´ships are great! LOL
