Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Cool thanks Bill, great collage.I am enveous of what you have on your doorstep, but grateful you share so many great photos. As soon as I read 'Victory Girl' it came back to me, I've been to their site before which explain the nose art being familiar. Thanks for the link though, well worth another visit.Huge thanks for taking time to put this together, I'm sure I'm not the only one to appreciate this great post.

Excellent collage, Bill; I like the paint job on this old bird. I know the only reason you moved here was to be near these planes, right? LOL!

Yes, like Andrea, I was expecting a Ford. Of course in your gallery, it could have just as easily been the plane. The is a great collage of a legendary plane. It's also inspired me to do the same thing with a classic car post at some point. Nice work here.

Nice work on this collection of shots! It's a great plane, and these photos show it off beautifully. Perfect dedi for Neil! :)

That just about sums it all up... Good poster material too!

Great presentation of my favorite Mustang. However, it's presented in its final configuration including a field installed dorsal fin extension (because of the four-blade prop) and the sliding canopy it didn't have while carrying this paint job. I'm obsessive/compulsive to an alarming degree, I know ... Again, great pics.

Wonderful collage of this magnificent P51 Mustang!!!

Great collage Bill some lovely shots, well done!!

Anything called a Mustang is a pretty darn sexy piece of machinery and this is no exception. I love the various views and the sense of color and function just screams in all of the best ways: kinda like a nicely-bracing shot of vodka (room temperature, of course, so that you get the full effect, rather than the delayed reaction that never measures up to the fullest potential of vodka itself.) I like the bracing feel of this collage! Great sharpness.

What a great series of the beautiful Mustang.
