Champion,… for who?

Eallana Maxius came from Hellenia, but unlike so many of her countrymen, she followed a different path. Rather than dedicating herself to the strict discipline and repressive attitudes of the Church of Bahamut, she opted to throw in with a band who’s creed is sex, love, beauty, partying, debauchery, sex,… and water sports. She joined the Sisters of the Pearl. Given her natural aptitudes, an uncanny fighting skill, and an unfailing tendency to ignore the law in favor of the common good, she was a perfect fit.

Lana,… only Cage calls her Max,… left home at fifteen to go on the pilgrimage to the Isle of Hermaphros. On the way back, she and the acolytes she was defending passed through the Central Barrier Mountains and crossed the plains of the Pouarr Nation. Passing south through Foxmoor, they reached Wyreport at last, where Lana remained for many more years, completing her training with the Sisters. Along the way, she fell in love with the forests and rolling hills, the crystal clear streams and lakes, and swore to one day return to the eastern lands of the Pouarr, the area around Rangershome and Beastshome. She returned about two years ago, with Cage.

To say that Lana plays the bimbo effectively would be accurate, for in truth, she’s almost as smart as me. I’m not sure how or where Lana and Cage first met, but there was a solid and unbreakable bond there from day one. The two are mad lovers, constantly bickering and picking at each other, but would die for one another without question or hesitation. That isn’t to say Lana doesn’t jump in the sack with every other handsome guy, girl, or in between that comes along. She’s still an Erotic, and a Champion of the Church of Aphrodite. And Eros knows, she’s enjoyed a romp with every other member of the Stacked Deck, yours truly included, one, two or all at the same time, doesn’t matter to her.

Personally, I’m glad to have her along. Takes more than one fool to watch Cage’s back,… and hers is much more enjoyable to watch anyway.
