Priest, teacher, drunk.

Harrimon Glauccus is a priest of the old Carellonian church. He isn’t dedicated to any one God. He’s a pantheist, some might say an opportunist. Others would simply call him a lazy, lecherous lout. But there is one thing that everyone would have to agree with. Harry knows his brews.

Harry actually knows a lot more about a lot of things. In fact, only the sorceress, Anna, has more useless information stuffed away in that head than Harry, and that’s widely debated,… by the two of them on a regular basis. Nobody else in the Stacked Deck really cares. Harry had been a teacher, apparently of young girls in some far away village in Carellon. He left under suspicious circumstances, or so the rumor goes. Actually, nobody’s ever proved that he did anything wrong, but you know rumors. Once they get started, they’re tougher to kill than a rampaging case of creeping crud on a Hill Giant’s arse. And most of them smell about as bad.

I met Harry when I hooked up with Cage last year. Harry had saved Cage in some fight along the border right at the end of the Three Wars, though which border, even Cage would never say. I can only suppose that Cage was fighting up north, around Mahla’atma, which would mean he was engaged in the final battles right before the asteroid hit, or against the Shadows after it hit. Either way, Harry healed him up and pulled him to safety. Brother Harry had gone east to fight for his own mysterious reasons. Now, fighting’s something he can do. Many might think him flabby and out of shape, but there’s a good amount of muscle and the constitution of an ogre under that bulk. Cage obviously recognized his worth and dragged him along on a few adventures before they ended up in Rangershome.

I’d have to say, whatever they think he did back in Carellon, its long behind him. He is the nicest man, the truest friend, and the best darn brewmiester you’ll ever meet.
