its hard to find words for this incident. having seen some indeep after 9/11 reportages on tv over the last days i came to the conclusion that in fact osama assface won in a way. he lurked america into a war they can never win. then israel lurked the us into iraq. all the countries had to spend billions for security the us of A is almost bancrupt, people starve on the streets and have nothing. in europe we spend more money on the war on terror and the rattail of logistics wich go with instead of educating our kids in the right way and give a perspective and hope and create jobs. if it would not sound soo morbid i would say a machiavellistic plan. sad sad sad. excellent tribute form your part.

Fine tribute and words, Steve. I was on my job when I heard it on the radio - a commercial one, just shortly telling that a plane just crashed into one of the Twin Towers. I fixed an old TV to show news (in Denmark) - and I and my college then sat down watching and then we live saw the next plane hit the second tower...It all seems so surrealistic, not to believe...My first thought was that, could it be the crazy north Korean government...but the overall feeling: What's going on?...No, I never forget this day and now we now what brainwashed crazy people are able to do...

Great Work. Wonderful tribute. I have never been to N.Y. but that day still changed my me forever, it was evening here and I was at work watching it all unfold on the tv. I couldn't believe it. just didn't seem real. Still doesn't. My love and thoughts are with all who were effected by that day.........

I remember, I was home - was a stay at home mom back then. I had morning TV playing and they broke in with the first tower on fire. Like most others, I never imagined terrorism I just thought a plane had been off course and had struck the tower. Tragic accident. I was watching the coverage and then saw the second plane strike and the huge explosion and knew it was coordinated at that point. I kept wishing it was some nightmare, but then it only became worse. When the buildings came down it was so surreal. I was cold all over watching it. They let my daughter's school out then, so I went to pick her up and they didn't hold school the next day. This is a great piece, Steve and I think captures the sadness and grief that was in the hearts of us that day. Great work on the layering of building, flag and eagle too!

I was in the local library reading when an old man came in and shouted "A plane's flown into the World Trade Center in New York." I went to the librarian and asked if she could get CNN on her computer's Internet connection. She could, and several of us in the library watched, and suddenly saw the second plane crash. I headed home and called American friends, who asked me over. We watched the whole thing again on CNN TV international. I'm in south Sweden - there was quite a bit of excitement and concern about the attacks what/who were behind them. I'll never forget. Huge pictures in the papers. I still have those newspapers. Nice tribute.

an excellent image. I was a soldier at the time, and now as then, my rage burns strong. So many say would should not have gone after them, or we have to love them in the name of peace. To keep peace, unfortunately, there has to be someone there with a weapon. my opinion, as well as some of those I served with, we did not respond fast enough, or strongly enough. The head of the snake was cut off, but that one is a hydra, so that mission is far from over, and must never be forgotten, or all those lives that were lost would mean nothing. they deserve better than that.

I was on my car, back home...I was listening to the news and I at first thought they were talking about a new movie, something like "the attack of the towers" but I quickly understood this was for real. At home I switched on TV and watched and cried alot...this was so awful. Wonderful tribute my friend.

I was at work in a micrographics shop when someone wheeled in the TV they kept in the office. It was just after the first hit on the twin towers. When the second hit came I just looked at the screen and said "This is no accident! We have just been attacked!" Everyone else in the office told me I was full of it but it later panned out that I was right in this case. My boss had been in NYC just the week before and almost visited the twin towers to look out over the city but decided not to as he figured they would be there the next time he went down to the city. Just memories of things that went on that day. Nice memorial.

We'll never forget this tragedy. I am so sorry for this loss and grief because of this tragedy. Joy will come in the morning of the resurrection when all hurt will be healed and we will be together with those we love. פעמיים צרה לא תקום! ממני ליאור

I was vacuuming, and had just turned the vacuum cleaner off when the phone rang, it was my daughter telling me to go turn the tv on right away .. the first plane had already hit, and then the second one hit .. I was stunned, shocked, and yes, scared. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Nothing much got done the rest of the day, I was glued to the tv. This is a beautiful tribute to all who died .. a wonderful memorial. It so touches my heart.
