Description
I'm a big fan of Heisejinyao Ziyulinglong's* "pretty boy" paintings, so when Fu-minn released her Yu on the marketplace I grabbed him. I am supposed to not be playing on the computer, but painting ceilings, so he's quite sketchy and not very finished, but I enjoyed rendering Yu a lot, and wanted to post him as soon as I could. Later I'll do more that really show off Yu's makeup options. He's probably the most dangerous pretty boy you will see tonight ;)
I've got one of Quinn going as well, and the difference between the characters amuses me greatly.
*yes, I had to copy and paste her name :D

Playing on the computer is buckets more fun than painting cielings! Can't you train gecko's for that or something? I like the overall color tone in this one!

this is a highly versatile character. i had to take a look at him, and i think you've got him looking very differently than his promos. his promos remind me of a cross between Maya Doll and Final Fantasy characters. i couldn't quite define how your version is different, but he has his own distinctive flavor. i'm glad you were able to steal some time away from chores and share this with us.

This looks pretty finished to me. Not in your style of finished of course. But in sort of a painterly abstract kinda way, I think you could call the work finished... even if you added to it later.

He is absolutely gorgeous Lynn! Fantastic job on him and I like him just as you've done him here - very minimalist, which is typical of such oriental paintings. It's all about the dynamics of the pose and flow of the cloth and you've captured that very nicely here!!
