Description
I snapped this flamingo while on holiday in July. I love these birds - they are so graceful and the salmon color of their feathers fascinate me!!!
The past 2 weeks I only had mobile Internet which is very pricy here in SA - hence my complete silence. Thankfully I'm back now. I'm working very, very hard at the office and doing long hours, but it could land me a trip to the US and Canada again in January!!!

full-size is a must...the detail is lush & the colors, as the feathers move downward, are beautiful. Fine framing too, with the bird wound-in on itself & the image cropped to completely surround it. It's a closeup of something which might seem merely interesting from a distance, but which is opulent and beautiful up close. Your cropping is always very sensitive, carin, and the details here are beautiful.
