Description

After a LONG winter, spring has eventually arrived here in Johannesburg. We had a cold snap this past weekend, but the weather guys reckon this is it! I actually captured this peach bloom last year and digi-fiddled with it a tiny tad! :) I am back to working 12-15 hour days - so no time for taking pictures. Thank you for popping in and your very kind comments and favs on my last upload "Lavender." Hugs Carin xx

Ooh, I love this, especially since our seasons are going the other way; I think I should just initiate hemispherical migrations on a regular cycle...heading that way when autumn reaches the northern hemisphere and heading to the north when autumn reaches the southern hemisphere....that makes for a lot of traveling, and well...that gets expensive! Oh well. I suppose I should say something about this shot. (And I have a lot to catch up on.) Don't you just love 12 - 15 hour work days!?!?! Spectacular aren't they? I'm surprised you're even keeping your eyes open! I get all sleepy and groggy just thinking about 2 hour workdays! And I STILL haven't said anything about this shot: that's so typical of me. Okay...now onto this shot. Lovely! That blossom looks as if it's exuding its own light, and I love the way the colors dance around this. It looks so fragile! Wonderful digifiddling too! All-in-all this is super work. Oh, and I thought of you this past weekend; there are two lobbies here you would adore. That just means you'll have to see it. In person! (With keylime cheesecake afterward, or Reza's...you've not been to Reza's yet, have you?)

This has a lot of appeal - and what does it matter, which year it was taken? Each year has the same seasons and peach blossoms all over again and again, right? and a gorgeous pink to drool over - perfect digi-fiddle, Carin BB
