I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

So magical and bursting with life. I love this for the emotion is projects. We are just entering autumn here. One of my favorite times of year...

Ooh, I love this, especially since our seasons are going the other way; I think I should just initiate hemispherical migrations on a regular cycle...heading that way when autumn reaches the northern hemisphere and heading to the north when autumn reaches the southern hemisphere....that makes for a lot of traveling, and well...that gets expensive! Oh well. I suppose I should say something about this shot. (And I have a lot to catch up on.) Don't you just love 12 - 15 hour work days!?!?! Spectacular aren't they? I'm surprised you're even keeping your eyes open! I get all sleepy and groggy just thinking about 2 hour workdays! And I STILL haven't said anything about this shot: that's so typical of me. Okay...now onto this shot. Lovely! That blossom looks as if it's exuding its own light, and I love the way the colors dance around this. It looks so fragile! Wonderful digifiddling too! All-in-all this is super work. Oh, and I thought of you this past weekend; there are two lobbies here you would adore. That just means you'll have to see it. In person! (With keylime cheesecake afterward, or Reza's...you've not been to Reza's yet, have you?)

This has a lot of appeal - and what does it matter, which year it was taken? Each year has the same seasons and peach blossoms all over again and again, right? and a gorgeous pink to drool over - perfect digi-fiddle, Carin BB

Oh my, is this beautiful, dear Carin. You added an extra demensie with digit-fiddle, plus a very intense mood.
