Description
The stone wall made such a strong shape as it followed the contours of the hillside. I had to get a shot.
These structures are falling into disrepair all over the fells. There are thousands of miles of them so maintenance is low priority.
The required wall boundries to keep sheep in tend to be repaired with post and a roll of wire.

well done - besides the wall, I'm struck by the open grasses and then the shock of what looks like a thick forest in on the mountain side. And some of those rock walls look like they are on a a substantial slope..
