Lost all my notes so have to start again, damn. It's never as good on the rewrite.
I want to thank Val for giving me Anna quite some time ago. She is obviously one of my all time favourite characters. I am sorry I am behind in your other characters sweety but getting pp2012 to work has been a bear.
Well this is my first upload using poserpro2012. I must say this program has a pretty steep learning curve coming off of poor old poser7. The biggest frustration is learning how to work with all the new light and render adjustments. Many beloved light sets do not work so well in pp2012 and need fixing up or just use new ones. And to get the preview window to look right, argh that was a bear. Gamma correction caused me no end of trouble until I figured out that setting it at 1.0 in render window gave good views in preview window and also produced the best balanced renders between saturated and grayish.
I really love the new SSS feature and indirect lighting. They give such a great combination of detail and glow - they are awesome for portrait work and SSS gives great eyes if you fix them up in the material room first. Always set up SSS in material room first for all the skin nodes and then turn on SSS in the render window.. this will really improve the results.
The big downside is that pp2012 does not import characters and scenes you created in poser7 very well. It tends to drop textures or cannot find them. That means I have to rebuild all my Delphinium characters for the series to continue. And of course I have forgotten many details of how I tweaked them when I created them. On the other hand I think this is the best version of Anna that I have done yet. What do you think?

SSS turned on in material room and render window
GC=1.0
Indirect Lighting = on = 7
Displacement mapping
Additionally I used just a touch of Beautifier filter as suggested by Val.
My next Delphinium remake will be Onna.

This is beautiful Roxy. I understand your frustration with new products: First when I went to Daz Studio 3 from DS2, then from DS3 to Carrara 7. In each case, it seemed I was back at square one - now THATS disconcerting for an old guy like me LOL! At any rate, it looks like your certainly getting the hang of it - and it is really GOOD to have you posting again.
