Description

Anywhere else I suppose it would be a hot tub, but at the 5-star Broadmoor Hotel it's a spa. :P Today we had a late breakfast, went to the Broadmoor to look around and take a few pictures, had dinner with Aunt Jane, drove around looking at beautiful old houses, and then crashed at the hotel. Seeing Aunt Jane was delightful! We had a terrific dinner and had a ball getting caught up. (She's actually my brother-in-law David's Aunt, for those of you who are keeping track of these things.)

Great shot and it sounds like you had a great, quiet day Tara unlike myself. I had all the noise and pressure I could handle yesterday, but I was in hog heaven!

A pool with a view! I really envy your dedication to submitting on RR, Tara. I went to the UK with grand plans to do likewise and fell horribly short! Clive

As Arthur hints, Broadmoor is a hospital for the criminally insane here in the UK! Mind you some of our prisons are like hotels in comparison to the conditions some folk live in while free. You would have trouble getting me out of that 'pond' even for breakfast.

Too fancy for the 'hot tub' moniker. I think this one deserves the 'spa' name, but of course I know nothing about such things.

wow, you are now in MY old stomping grounds, Grew up down that way, had to go to the Springs for everything because our town was so small we had nothing, not even a gas station.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, nice but unused on the sunny day we visited. Composition is superb. I looked at this pool and didn't see its possibilities. Well done.

Aunt Jane's a sweetheart, how fun that you got to see her. This doesn't look anything like that spa we go to!! lol

I love a good spa. There's a whole Czech town that's essentially one, huge spa and it looks a wee bit like this, only with a zillion Russians ambling around and being healthy and all of that! I really like this shot; it's so bright and alive and warm, despite the absence of people in the pool, water-body thingie intended for that stuff people do in water. I really like the overall composition and the way it's anchored by that young, slightly spindly tree. This rocks and it's so great to see more of your trip and hear of numerous fun times!
