Like it muchly Neil:) The cockpit is really slick! Only constructive comment I'd like to throw in for your consideration has to do with the wing fences, also known as boundary layer fences and potential fences(they obstruct span-wise airflow along the wing, and prevent the entire wing from stalling at once)....found on the wings of the MiG 15. Based on my observation of the real things...they are considerably more pronounced then on your model at this stage of development.

Nice render Neil, though I think the canopy framing looks a bit too thick, the cockpit looks treat though,

Yikes! No wonder we were scared as h*ll of the Soviets back in the 1950s! Pilotless planes (chuckle)! Another great one from your Plant! With the cannon, you've got a killer. The US planes had abandonned cannon for missiles and wound up paying the price. That's what started the "Top Gun" school for pilots - to train them in dog fighting. After that, US losses decreased. I sure remember these Migs, all right. Penters comment, and Bill's, could be considered, but that's if one wants a close-up of the plane (like, pilots portrait while in the air, whoever will try for such a photo!). Keep up the good work. Now, how would an Me262 match up to this one? Probably like a Mustang to the Me262. :-)

Another modeller who made a Mig 15, Bazze http://www.colacola.se/expo_mig15.htm#2 Your markings are Chinese and not North Korean right?

Fantastic cockpit detail!!! I agree with the above about the wingribs; they were a bit more pronounced as I recall. Still, a fine model all the same. I believe the North Korean who flew his MIG over to the UN side, landed his plane at Kimpo AB, where I later was stationed for a year. So I'm really looking foward to having this model.
