Description
This immature snowy egret was standing, on a piling, on Naples Beach, Florida. I have not seen an egret, fishing in salt water before. The yellow around the eyes indicates immature and the yellow feet point to snowy egret. They are about 24 inches (61cm) long with a wingspan of 41 inches (104cm). I am editing some photos of him fishing in the surf, to be posted later. Zoom works well!

I love this shot, but it's hard to go wrong with a bird wearing those skinny, black, straight leg jeans (of the skinny sort punk rockers are so fond of) and yellow footwear! That's avian elegance right there, and to top it off, you've handled the composition, and technical bits of this shot marvelously. I love the elegant pose and the wonderful light. This is a great shot.
