Description

Just across the hotel I took a shot at for Halloween there's the pedestal of a Belle Epoque lamp post. It borders with the Renaissance bastion, and the corner apparently hosts a lizards' den. Here there are a number of generations, mom, dad, granny and grandaddy, and posibly some teenager lizards, all bathing in the last Indian summer sun. After that, a week of heavy rain, which is still going on. Thanks for your kind comments.

Every once in a while I see a lizard in my backyard. They are not native to this area, but are probably some pets that were let loose. They seem to survive the winters and the lawnmowers here and I always enjoy seeing them. I think the common name is fence lizard. Well done image Sandra!
