Description

A view of via Altinate in downtown Padova, once an important Roman road, then it led through one of the city's medieval gates.Todays it's suffering a bit of decadence, after the cinemas closed because of the general crisis of old-fashioned cinemas, and the fact that it was turned into a pedestrian-only street, which killed many of the small shops. Only those closer to the medieval gate and the townhall are resisting, as the one which reflectes the porches across the street. The lady with the blue and gray jacket is Flavia. The jacket was a real bargain, discovered in upstate New York. I dedicate this image to Flavia, whose birthday is tomorrow, Nov. 12th: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FLAVIA! Thanks for your kind comments.
