Description

Please view full size. Another of my offbeat London, England city scapes. This time a tight view down the tube. After a night of drinking real ales at the Cask Pub and Kitchen I caught the last train out at Pimlico. Surprisingly I was not the last or only one.

your art Roxy is always super, but your photo talents are most spectacular, looks like a photo life magazine would have used. 8++

This photo is definitely best in b&w. All the lines and arches. The mirror reflection, that mysteriously doesn't show the photographer, and the disappearing tracks and tunnel make a beautiful composition that draws you in. The sparseness sets up a mood of late or lonely. Or horror! Excellent capture.

There was a movie that creeped me out called Midnight Train. This capture reminds me of it. Once fantastic capture and POV.

The tube is a strange place and this captures it perfectly, Roxy! Great photo and perspective, and yes...how DID you do that mirror trick? :) Awesome pic!

I mean you rule in fantasy CGI realm but jeez your photography is phenomenal. This is a tremendously effective black and white. Without having to read a thing I get the concepts of the piece. Art should do that. The perspective is amazing and breath taking!

Never knew you are a Londoner - the city I love the most. The farthest person's face caught light from somewhere - it gives the photo a bit surrealistic touch.
