Description

The journey continues. Best in full size. Lady Ishtar, why did you have us stop here? Because someone is calling my name. I do not hear any voice. That is because they are not calling from this place and time. Someone far away is invoking my name. Ishtar, you are not making sense. Ninshubar, you may be my cousin and a Goddess in your own right, but you well know that you are not called like I am called. Oh, so it is one of those again? Yes, it is one of those. I am sorry, but we must interrupt this journey to Grandfather's yet again. I promise, it should not take long. It is only one small problem. Like Sargon was only one small problem? Hush Ninshubar, I will take no insolence from you. Someone calls my name and that is enough for me. We have work to do. Now grab your bow.... Yes my Lady, I know. ... and follow me! ------ Dear reader, indulge Ishtar, and me, one last diversion before we really get on to the Sumerian tale of Ishtar and her search for knowledge. She is after all a Goddess and she does care about her children. She cares for those who call her name and will always make the time to answer their invocation. And now she has somebody very special she must help. One last upgrade on Ishtar, she now has a longer and darker version of the same hair style as Ninshubar. Her older hair, while beautiful, was such a pain to shape and was hopeless on windy and action shots. This one is much better; I hope you like it as much as she does. Poserpro2012 Technical details: Gamma Correction in render window = 1.1 Skin subsurface scattering node in material room with both detail and specularity set=1.0 Some people have hinted they would like some photoshop tips. So here is foundation of this image using various Adam Wright Actions: Create a Dynamic Moods Actions Fantasy layer from a flattened image (increases color depth). Then go down to original layer, duplicate it, and create a Fantasy Art Actions Torchlight layer (softens the image and increases vividness). So now have Fantasy layer over Torchlight. Turn off Fantasy layer. Now duplicate Torchlight layer and do a linear burn on the duplicate layer (darkens the image dramatically). Then reduce the burn layer to 28% opacity. Turn on fantasy layer and reduce its opacity to 28%. Finally it was all compressed to one layer and the background was blurred by hand with a blur brush. Previous Ishtar

Tsk Tsk, now Ninshubar should know better--when Ishtar gets "pulled" chicka has to go. And Grandfather would understand right, having had his own share of adventurous difficulties ROFLMAO... I love this new hair and I have on occasion shifted from one do to the next for convenience--esp troublesome with animation renders... Curious to see what new "tangle" Ishtar and Ninshubar find themselves in... :-)

I absolutely love how she looks in this Roxy! She's gorgeous :) Her new hair looks wonderful. I think it looks better, myself. Fabulous render and image here and her expression is very fitting to her - slightly imperious but sweet. Of course she must go and eagerly awaiting to see what this little side adventure is.

Looking this good, I'd follow her anywhere! Superb artwork, Roxy! And I'll be happy to indulge her (and you) in a little side-trip - I know it will be well worth the detour! Superb as always! Hmmmm - Dynamic Moods...... I think I have that somewhere...... I've got so much stuff I can't keep track. I really need to catalog all this stuff...

The hair looks great, Roxy. Seems like a good upgrade to me. Always up for a good adventure, and the "diversions" usually turn out to be the best adventures anyway. So, bring it on! And a special thanks for the photoshop tips. I was wondering how you got those results.

I'll have to look into that actions pack, seems quite useful. I follow JenniS's advice on postwork, usually. I like the glow you get though! This render s so magical, she just shines with power, befitting a goddess! I love it a lot! So wonderful!
