Description

Near Channahon, Illinois, on the I&M Canal. This was our first stop after leaving Chicago. A bit different from the hustle and bustle of city life! We loved Chicago and enjoyed every minute of our time there, but drew a deep breath, shifted gears, and enjoyed every minute of our time on the canal! Thanks to Yvonne (lovelypoetess) for steering us toward this marvellous place, and for joining us on that Sunday in Chicago.

This is like a PIP. First your eye is drawn to the water and field, then there is the fisherman, and only on second look do you suddenly become aware of the guy in the upper right that belongs to the fishing pole. That's a fun image.
