Description

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but these snake-like plants (or are they fauna?) seem to interact with the strange stone formations on this planet. Some of the stones' humps look like ears to me and seem to listen to the "plants" which are constantly in motion. Their shiny blueish heads use to glow in the dark (well you can't see it now since this is a daytime shot). :) Bryce7Pro, rendered in superfine mode. Water: modified Bryce preset Sky: DTE & IBL 1 Bryce terrain, and 5 displaced spheres making the prickly looking stones and the wavy parts of the ground, all with modified Bryce mats. Stone formations and snake plants modelled by me in Xfrog, with custom materials. The planets have a spherical texture map found at http://freebitmaps.blogspot.com/. Postwork in photoshop: contrast + signature. Thanks for looking!

Super work Sue. This alien landscape is amazing. Your skill with Bryce is very impressive. I can see where you have a definate advantage being skilled in both Bryce and MB3D. I can think of several times they could complement each other nicely in certain images.

Cooles Bild Susanne. Der linke Steinberg sieht irgendwie aus wie ein Mensch der auf etwas blickt. Ist es vielleicht ein Steinbeißer ;)
