Description
Captured 12/11/11, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, on the beautiful campus of California State University Long Beach, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A ZOOM will enhance your viewing pleasure.
Top foto shows what I saw through the viewfinder when snapping the scene, the middle pic displays some radical digifiddling, with the original version at the bottom.
Postwork was absolutely essential in this effort because, as you can see, the original was virtually black as a result of using a long 28-200mm lens, with a polarizer, plus a fast shutter speed, because these guys are always on the move, often going abruptly in all kinds of directions, apparently not hesitant of crawling all over each other.
Avtio, thankx for stopping by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

A beautiful collage with the koi looking so colourful. They don't seem to mind being very close to each other, maybe there is a moral for us here.

The middle one really pops. Those orange Koi are stunning, but I kind of like those pale yellow ones.

I agree with Andrea Harry. I like the top photo best. Better color and clarity.
