Description

Restoring these pics is not that easy and i do not wipe them down with anything as not to ruin them but getting them to look better is sometimes just not possible.Pieces of history like this just makes u appreciate the life we have now and as blinkings says we have come a long way with film and digital pics.

I remember buying my oldest boy's christening gown... very much like this baby's. I have a photo of my grandfather with black spiral curls that go way past his shoulders with a hoop, stick and his dog. They just didn't smile back then. :-) Beautiful job on this.

Beautiful work. The images you are showing look very good. They can be very faded and stained. I think my mom has an image of my grandfather in an outfit like the little boy's. Lovely image!

Outstanding! I have a 69 year old photo - in the family baptismal 'dress'. There is no way that anybody is ever going to see it. My wife has not even seen it! :o)

Cute, but aren't we fortunate to be born in our modern era? But then, these folks probably thought the same thing in their day. How will people feel 100 years from now when they see what we looked like and how we lived? Love these old photos.

It must have been hard to get a baby to sit still long enough for one of these long-shuttered photos. Beautiful children. I'm guessing around the 1920's?
