My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Great candid, the lady in blue looks very serious it doesn't look like it was a comedy show.

Enter stage left! Man with tackle flapping in the wind! Runs across the plaza, avoiding Police as he jogs! ;-) Assembled crowd (stage right!), in picture, drop jaws in concert as they gasp at the smallness of the appendage! ;-) Great capture Tara!, Nooooooo idea what you are looking at lol Rob
emmecielle
excellent capture! :)

Excellent shot! Just don't tell me they are watching for the little red man to turn green. Though in Chip's case, I'm sure he would be finding and storing fodder for future fascinating stories, even if that were the case.
whaleman
I think Chip is seeing some giant wood lice, and his expression is just changing into a smile while the others are starting to register expressions of monumental horror!
NefariousDrO
Wonderful shot, I love the focused and amused looks on their faces.
jocko500

LOL! What a wonderful shot; Chip certainly looks like something is birthing itself in his brain...

Ooh, this has a cinematic vibe to it, and it's so good to see Yvonne (LovelyPoetess) in this shot. I think she was on the verge of saying something hilarious: she was a fountain of observations that day and quite a few of them were just flat-out-spot-on funny in the way that makes you laugh and say: Oh, my god!!! That's so true! I think we were looking just past Da Bean...just over to the exploded aluminum can. That was such a fun day and this is such a crisp, sharp memory of it.

Heh - I thought that looked like Chip... A very cool capture of a memorable moment. Great shot, Tara!

Maybe it was the photographer in Bill's candid of the wedding shoot?! Super candid, Clive

Just at the good moment. Well done !

Ohhh, I remember this, I believe Chip got the object of our focus correct. If I recall correctly, my first thought upon seeing the sculpture was that it would be one hell of a place to launch a skateboard from, second thought was wouln't it make a great playing field for a game of marbles. I'm pretty sure that the woman in the aqua sweater is staring in abject disapproval of "modern art" while the guy behind her looks just a mite confused, trying to figure out what it all means... As to Chip, I'm sure his fertile mind had many a scenario for uses to which one could put that sculpture. Thanks for the memories of that great day : )

Where was I? I know...I had ducked under some low hanging tree branches trying to take a few pictures of what they are looking at...Da Bean. Little did I know that within 2-3 minutes we'd be crawling all over...well at least under that magical piece of public art work. Superb people shot...another thing I'll do more of in the future:)

Yes, that's fun stuff. You have to be sneaky for those type of candid shots. I know about that. Well captured.
