Description
A brand new version of "Deep Space Explorer Aquarius" modeled largely from scratch using Rhino 4. I wanted to create a design that was more abstract than the version I first made using TrueSpace and subsequently updated a few times in Rhino. With this more abstract ship, I am attempting to hearken back to how abstract the classic "USS Enterprise" may have appeared to TV viewers when it first made its debut in the mid 1960's.
As long time fans of mine may know, the "Aquarius" has always been accompanied by a set of deck plans that I struggled over for years now. I am happy to announce that the new version of ship also includes deck plans and that they are over 50% done at this point. I am hoping to wrap up the "Aquarius" project for good sometime in 2012.
