Description

Surprisingly, this started out to be a Norwegian fjord with some Beaufighters making a hasty retreat after a shipping raid...it veered out of control. I liked the light and it went somewhere else to accommodate that aspect. Neiwil's Hurricane fighters lending welcome air support in the day's events (maybe Sicily?). Hurricanes: sharecg.com free from Neiwil Dwc51 vehicle: free ontarget3d.com, but I see it everywhere. M4 figures from Daz and GI gear by adh3d Wrecked Armor: (Honest, they came that way!) free by Ranman at ontarget3d Bits put together in Poser, set up in Vue, PS Cs3 curves and bits.

LoL! "They came that way"....I'll believe you, I've got them too :-) Norwegian Fjord to this ? OK, works for me....have to admit it would have been a shame to lose this underwater. The textures and as you say lighting work very well, a very realistic scene.Love the subtle whisp of smoke from the far 'wreck'. Thanks for the mention in dispatches, much appreciated...take care bud.

Gee Bill.. sure glad to mentioned Norway... having lived in Germany I was trying my best to think of where this terrain could be.. As always a great assembly of items to tell a story in a very convincing way. Now go back and start painting for that show!!

Things tend to go that way, you start with one idea and it develops into another. Wonderful scene with just the right atmosphere used and of course you can never have enough Hurricanes. Superb work Bill!

It looks like in northern Norway in the few month without snow there. Very fine work.

THANKS for the ranman wrecked armor web site! Yes, the planes became, in many ways, the modern equivalent of the cavalry. Great job with the image! Keep up the good work! :-)

Gee, "mobile phones" have come a long way haven't they... but just like now, the solution can quickly be summoned from "The Cloud..." Great arrangement and lighting... I suspect the Sicilian mafia stole the fiords water...
