My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Myriad stories leap to mind; great work!!

While they stood there and discussed wether they should begin the exploration of the cave or sit down and have another cup of tea, the boat was slowly floating along the stream. Who should have tied it to the riverbank? How would they ever get back home again? A wonderful piece that made my head spin a story, Tara :-)

They're all fisherman, crazy as loons. I speak from experience; fishermen are just nuts. But these guys are over the top. They're all talking at once, trying to figure out how to get that boat back in the water. The guy in the hat---he's the old dude who DOES know how to fish and he's shaking his head in disgust at their ineptitude!!

That's the Wizzard of Oz wearing a straw hat and sunglasses so the three travellers won't recognize him. The three young men had been simply out walking one afternoon, after having enjoyed a few 'long necks' on the patio outside their office, when along came an oversized rabbit. [How many long necks did they have?] They followed him down a subway entrance disguised as a rabbit hole and here they are discussing their chances of ever getting home to Chicago again. Something very Lewis Carrollian about this:) Superb job of selecting and blending all the many layers here...

A fascinating composite, Tara! Bill's thinking Lewis Carroll, I'm thinking C.S. Lewis..... Something very Narnian about this..... Oh well, at least we both have a 'Lewis' involved... :-D
