Description

This makes me wonder if he turned and shot me when I wasn't looking. (Don't you ever wonder if you're in somebody else's gallery somewhere?) Probably not. I've reached that age where I'm invisible to young people. SO relaxing! :D

A study in single minded concentration. This has a nice photojournalistic feel to it. Excellent capture. I like the peace symbol in the window over his head. A nice touch.

When I saw the title I thought 'a murder scene' but this is a great shot Tara and this is NOT a pun but it's great in B&W.

When you get even older, everyone finds you invisible. I think it's because they don't want to be too near in case they might have to help you, like if you've fallen and can't get your email, LOL!

Yes i do wonder that Tara! Which is why I try to keep faces out of most of my photography...lol. Is that Chip? or a random dude? He does seem very focused , haha, on his shot.

Superb. I agree, it is great to not give a tinker's cuss about what other folk think of you.. especially as they don't do any thinking about any woman over 40.

Well...yes and no...when we get a little older we become interesting again as the little old lady or the crotchety old man in young people's images. Haha!

You probably are in someone's shots! I know I'm probably one of those clone-out problems in someone's shots...;p This is an excellent candid, and he has good taste in cameras.

A fine contrast once again...the rounded human form against stylish, angular manmade forms. An excellent addition to your collection of candid people portraits:)

This is a marvelous shot and it's cool to see other photographers in Chicago, even if they aren't associated with Renderosity, or are they!? The contrasts in this are fantastic and I love the way it has reached that level of timelessness that so many great black and white photos achieve, without even trying. As for whether or not you might have been in any of his shots...it's hard to say. I've noticed that a lot of non-Renderosity photographers don't tend to focus on things that have people anywhere near them...they always shoot just above people level, because they want that Neo Art Deco gargoyle perched just next to the pigeon. This is wonderful and I love the intensity of this guy's focus. He and I have the same haircut...sort of.

I agree with you, Tara! At a certain age, women are invisible to the eyes of all men! ;) Excellent photo in B/W! :)

An excellent capture and the B&W really makes it pop. I would think the possibilities of being in other galleries is pretty high with all the cameras and cell phones around.

This is the kind of shots i like to take. catch other people in doing something and being totally unaware of being photographed. Some people may think it is sbeing sneaky, but it is natural and unposed. (Unposed?) Nice capture Tara!
